BOOK RELEASE
I didn't know Anna Donaldson from An Inch of Gray until after the tragic event that changed her life forever on September 8, 2011, three years ago. Can you imagine going from a post on Wednesday September 7th about your children going back to school to a post on September 11th with a the title being "Our Beloved Son". You can read her post about the tragic night that her son Jack passed away THE BRIDGE: ONE TERRIBLE NIGHT.
What I found was a woman who has changed my life with her words. Her posts since Jack's passing have been inspirational to me and I could never believe that a person going through the most tragic of loses could actually inspire me more than anything else I have encountered in my life. I wanted to be there to comfort her along her journey of grief but she was the one who lead the way.....
You can also read a story from Nora Krug at the Washington Post which is very touching.
His Life Verse ~ Luke 1:37
"Nothing is Impossible with God."
Here is Anna's post from yesterday "THREE YEARS TODAY" which shows us that through the most tragic of times there is the hope of tomorrow. This hope helps me get out of bed each morning. This is my comment on her post yesterday:
"Hope in life is what we desire. To ever believe that there would be a presence of hope after a tragic loss has always been incomprehensible to me. You have changed that for me Anna, you have brought some of my greatest fears to a place of an aweareness of comprehension. I'm not sure where I would be today without reading your Blog posts for strength. I've know for many years now that a life without Faith cannot be lived. If you can't believe in the hope of seeing our loved ones again in Heaven or the fact that they are still present here on earth in other ways, what would be the point of getting out of bed each day. Thank you. Keeping you close in my heart today and praying for your comfort always.
(((HUGS))).....Debby"
