Is there a way to find joy when your heart is broken, when all that you know and love has been taken away? I have not lived through what my baby loss mother's are feeling so I am not the one to give advice. I have known pain, pain that was so deep that I didn't want to live another day. However we all know that the loss of a child is the worst pain that can be experience when you are a parent.
All I know is what I read and because of my journey with this blog I can say that I have been given a small slice of peace in my heart that I didn't know before. Not that I ever want to live though a loss so devastating but I have seen the joy that can follow. I am not saying that the pain leaves, we know this will never happen, but I have seen a joy that makes me see that there can be life after death.
For some it can come sooner than other but there is no time frame to follow. No one should ever tell you to move on or get over it because unless they have walked in your shoes they do not have a clue. I am praying that you find a slice of "Joy" during the Holiday's.
It is okay to laugh again I have personally experienced this with a dear friend of mine who lost her 12 year old son 13 years ago. She actually started to laugh at something someone said to her at the luncheon after we buried her son. Also a few months after our neighbor lost her son I could hear her in their backyard on the phone and she started to laugh. These moments touched me deeply. In my mind I thought that laughter would never come again after something so tragic.
Ecclesiastes 3-8
New International Version
A TIME FOR EVERYTHING
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens; a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time for war and a time for peace.
If you are in need of a handkerchief for yourself, or someone you know who is hurting, please send me an email at dpucci9972@gmail.com . I will need a full name, address and brief description of who passed away. If there is a link to a blog page I would appreciate that too but it is not necessary. Please know that I care and I am praying for you. ((HUGS))

I don't know if it's just my computer but I can't read this...white writing on light green background.
Hugs,

I haven't changed it, it has always been this way!
