Jack's Tree? Jack lost his life last September in a creek that flooded and swept him away. Jack has a birthday coming up and he would have been turning 13. Jack's favorite charity is Samaritan's Purse and his mother Anna wrote a post at
An Inch of Gray with some adorable pictures of Jack when he was a young boy. For his upcoming birthday they are asking for donations to Samaritan's Purse of $13. for 13! If you could help it would be greatly appreciated. There is a link on her page taking directly to a donation page.

Dear Debby - your beautiful handkerchief arrived and I wish cherish it always. Dave, my husband, passed away in Nov 2012 and life has been difficult some days and downright horrible other days. Today is the 4th month anniversary of his death and I am beginning to feel, in time, "all will be well". The grief journey takes time and God's healing touch but He is faithful. So many people have been so kind, they outshine the ones who haven't been kind.
Your kindness is a loving touch; may God bless you, yours and the work of your hands and heart.
