I hadn't even noticed the fleur de lis. I do think of Paris when I see this symbol. (I am going to Paris this summer for the first time) First it represents the Lily flower which makes me think of Easter and the promise of life after death. It has been used to represent strength and power which I see in each one of you.
A few things that I found on Fleur de lis which I thought were interesting:
The fleur de lis or "flower of the lily" is a stylized version of a flower in blossom. It represents an open flower with the upper center and drooping sides depicting the petals and the lower center is the stalk.
The symbol was adopted by a French king in the twelfth century for his coat of arms. The symbol has been adopted by military units throughout the years, as a way of conveying strength and power.
The fleur de lis symbol has become associated with monarchs, courageous warriors and the elite. The fleur de lis is linked with the Holy Trinity, excellence, illumination, purity and human existence.
Just wanted to share my necklace with you.
Always,
P.S. If you have come here to ask for a handkerchief to catch your tears, or those of someone you care about, please email me at dpucci9972@gmail.com
