So when I started this blog mailing out handkerchiefs I knew that I needed a booklet to write down the addresses and the information I collected on each person I mailed a handkerchief to. I looked to see what I had in my supply of things that I often buy just because I fall in love with it. I have had this spiral book on my desk for 16 months now and it is always opened to the current page I am writing in. The other day I was looking through the book and I had closed it and hadn't even realized how fitting this book is.
I know why I bought the book but at the time I wasn't even doing this ministry. I bought the book because it had words on it from a favorite song of mine "Somewhere Over The Rainbow." We played this song at my mothers funeral 28 years ago. Actually there is a song from Meet Joe Black sung by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole where it is mixed with "What A Wonderful World" my most favorite song.
When I saw it I thought that the words were very fitting for the dreams of the rainbow baby in every ones hearts. I always go back into my book when I find out that one of you are pregnant and go back again to write down the name and birth date of those rainbow babies. I have marked close to 28 of them in my booklet. I know that you will never stop loving/missing the baby you have lost, but I do believe that you see some blue skies and the dreams that you dared to dream really can come true. Praying this prayer for all the baby lost mothers.
If you would like a handkerchief for yourself or would like to have one mailed for a friend please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org If you could include the full name, address and blog link if you have one that would be appreciated. Take care and God bless.
